Herkimer Diamonds For Sale

Herkimer diamonds are some of the brightest stones. Despite their name, they are not diamonds. They are quartz. When they were first discovered, they were given the name diamonds because of their clarity and brightness. If you've ever held a palm full of these magical little stones, you know that they do indeed look and sparkle like diamonds. The other part of their name comes from where they are mined, in Herkimer County, New York. Similar stones have been found in other parts of the world but they can't be called Herkimers. They are found in pockets and the stones are clear and bright, right from the ground. They are known for their high vibration and happy energy. Also known as the dream stone, they can help get clarity in ones dreams. They are also used by healers as a way to connect with those they are working on.

Large Herkimer Diamond Cluster

This is a really incredible piece. It is a Herkimer diamond cluster, which is a bit of a rarity in itself. But the size of the herkimers make this a very unique specimen. There are 3 large crystals that have grown together. Each one is about the size of a grapefruit! Each stone has areas of wonderful rainbows, as well as some rough areas. A few areas of the matrix rock are visible too. #herk1

Small AA Grade Herkimer Diamonds

These are the bright shiny little herkimers that we all love. Very clear with the classic herkimer shape. These stones have not been cut or polished. A wonderful stone to carry with you if you need some energy. Herkimers are happy stones. And when you see a bunch of these small pieces together, you know why they got the name "diamond". These are a AA grade which means they are the highest quality and clarity. #herk2

Grade A Herkimer Diamond

This herkimer diamond is very clear, much clearer than the picture shows, which isn't always easy to find in a larger herkimer. It has areas of fine veils. It also is a light smoky quartz color. It is intact with minimal nicks on one tip. A really nice stone and a good size too. #herk3

Herkimer Diamond Twin

This is a neat herkimer diamond. Not only is it a nice large size, it is also a twin. On one end, it appears to be a single crystal. But on the other end, there are 2 distinct tips (you can see them on the left side of the picture). A great stone to symbolize being together but also being an individual. The back of the stone has some iron on it, as well as some of the matrix rock. #herk4

Herkimer Diamond Cluster

There are 2 main herkimers with a couple of smaller ones on the back side that have grown into the main stones. There are many beautiful rainbows inside the quartz. They are much clearer than the picture shows. Small areas of internal iron give a yellow tint to the stones. The back side of the smaller herkimer is rough, like it was up against another stone at some point in it's evolution. And the main stone has an interesting diamond shape on it, like a window quartz. Nicely fits on your palm. #herk5

Large Herkimer Diamond

This is much prettier than the picture shows. It is a nice big herkimer with many veils and internal rainbows. It is still attached to some of it's matrix rock. There is some iron influence so it has a nice warm glow near the bottom. The back of the stone has some rough areas. It is a powerful piece. #herk6

Large Herkimer Diamond

The internal rainbows in this herkimer are incredible! Pinks, blues, yellows and greens are very bright in the clearest part of the stone. This is a nice, large herkimer that is still connected to some of it's original matrix stone (which is covered in tiny crystals). Much clearer than the picture shows, it is a really pretty herkimer. Some rough areas on the back as well as on one tip. #herk8

Large Herkimer Diamond

This is a fun herkimer. It is a nice, large piece with numerous internal rainbows. It has what's known as a skeletal structure inside. Sometimes these formations have water in them, but I haven't spotted any in this one yet. The back in rough, yet it looks like it has been smoothed a bit, as if the stone was smoothed by running water. Interesting. It is a bright stone with a lot going on inside of it. #herk9

Herkimer Diamond Cluster

Herkimer clusters aren't always the easiest to come by. This one has 3 main good sized herkimers with 3 smaller very bright and shiny herkimers attached to the back. There are many internal veils as well as some carbon, so there is a lot to look at. There is a small remnant of the matrix rock on the back as well. A wonderful piece. It has a great high vibration energy to it. #herk10
