Our gallery of ceremonial items encompasses a variety of items to help you with your spiritual needs.
- We have statues from India, Nepal, Thailand and Bali.
- We have Buddha’s carved from wood or basalt, Tara’s in bronze and Kwan Yin's from wood.
- We have a variety of Ganesha's from one inch to over 4 feet.
- Some of the deities we carry include Buddha, Green Tara, White Tara, Padmasambhava, Avalokiteswara, Ganesha, Kwan Yin and Krishna.
- We have thangkas, which are hand painted pictures of a deity or a mandala, surrounded by a brocade cloth.
- Also available are sandalwood, Bodhi seed or Tulse seed malas.
- And we have numerous singing bowls. These are bowls made of 5 metals which will “sing” when a wooden stick is rubbed along the outside rim of the bowl. Sometimes they are referred to as Tibetan bowls but most come from Nepal or India now.
- Prayer wheels of different sizes are also available.
- And we have altar cards, kartikas and purbas.
- And, of course, we have a great selection of stones to help your meditation practice.
There are many studies out now discussing the many benefits that meditation or being spiritual has on ones health and well being. Stress reducing, calming and an overall sense of harmony are just a few. Lower blood pressure and better sleep are others. And we could all use more harmony in our lives!

Large Dorje (or Vajra)
A dorje or vajra is also known as a thunderbolt or diamond that destroys all kinds of ignorance, and is itself indestructible. The dorje symbolizes the male and is held in the right hand, while the bell, which symbolizes the female, is held in the left hand. Their interaction leads to enlightenment. This is a large dorje and is made of silver. From Nepal. #C34

Yak Drum
This is a drum that has a ceramic base, covered with yak hide. The hide is held on with sinew and makes a pretty geodesic design on the back of the drum. It's quite lovely and it has a good sound. It is from India. #C35

Tingshaws
Tingshaws are also known as cymbals. They have been used by Tibetan Buddhists for prayer and at the beginning and end of meditation. Many people use them to energetically clear a space. They consist of 2 discs made of different metals, held together with a leather cord. The two discs are gently struck together, emitting a clear tone that remains in the air for many seconds. These particular tingshaws have the 8 auspicious symbols on the outside. These were made in Nepal. #C36

Manjushri Statue
Manjushri is a Bodhisattva who is known as the "God of divine wisdom", as well as the protector of the dharma. He carries the sword of wisdom and light in his right hand. On his left side is the Prajnaparmita manuscript, "The divine book of wisdom" which sits on top of a lotus blossom. His left hand is in the teaching gesture
(the Jnan mudra). This statue was created in Nepal. The face has been painted with 24k gold paint. Stunning. #C37

Buddha Statue
This is a Thai Buddha. He is sitting on 3 tiers, the top tier represents the lotus flower. There is lovely detail on all sides of the statue. It is made of bronze. The Buddha is sitting in a peaceful meditation pose with the hands in the dhyana mudra. From Thailand. #C38

Thai Buddha Statue
This is a lovely Thai Buddha. He is sitting on a lotus pedestal which sits atop 4 tiers. Each of the 4 tiers has 22 to 30 small meditators that go around the front and sides of the statue. It has nice detail. the very top of the statue sits slightly to the left. His right hand is raised in the abhaya mudra, the gesture of protection. Made of bronze. #C39

They are always used in combination in ceremonies. Using the two together helps lead to enlightenment. They can also be "played" like a singing bowl by rubbing a stick around the base of the bell. Incense Burner
This is an interesting incense burner. There are 3 holes on each end to hold sticks. Cones could also be burned. Or it could be used to hold items on an altar. Made of a soft metal that has sanskrit on the outside and a turquoise bead. it stands on "feet", similar to a claw footed tub. On each end is one of the 8 auspicious symbols, the parasol, which protects from evil. From Nepal. #C43
