Fossils
for Sale
Fossils
are like windows to what our world used to be like. Trilobites
that are millions of years old show every detail of these first
invertebrates. Fossilized megalodon teeth give us an idea as to
how massive these prehistoric sharks must have been. Some ammonites
(sea fossils) not only have beautiful details on their fossilized
shells but some have actually turned to opal, giving flashes
of deep reds and greens. Even fossilized dinosaur eggs have been
found, allowing us to see this amazing piece of history. And
these are all part of our collection of fossils for sale.
We have sea plate fossils for sale from Morocco with ammonites
and Orthoceras, fossilized sharks and Megalodon teeth from the
Southeast United States and fossil fish plates from Utah. Also
available are whale vertebrae and mastodon teeth. Each fossil, like all of
natures masterpieces, are one of a kind, unique pieces. And they
give us an incredible glimpse into our past.

Trilobite
This is a wonderful, intact trilobite fossil plate from Morocco. This is a great example of a trilobite, which were sea creatures some 300 million years ago. Trilobites were alive in the early Cambrian period to the end of the Permian period. There are many different forms of trilobites as well. The detail is very good. A display stand is included.

Crinoid Plate
Crinoids were called sea lilies, if they had a stem (like the stems on this plate). The stem was attached to the sea floor or to other animals or plant life. They were abundant in the Paleozoic Era (225 million to 500 million years ago). This plate has numerous stems with one nice "sea lily". A great fossil.
17 in wide x 11 in. tall x 1/2 in. thick

Trilobite
This is a great trilobite. The stone around the fossil has been etched away, leaving a slightly indented area in the rock, where this perfectly intact trilobite lies. Trilobites were alive in the early Cambrian period to the end of the Permian period. This is a lovely "spiny" trilobite from Morocco. #F4
10 in. high x 7 1/2 in. wide x 2 in. thick

Fossilized Megalodon Tooth
The megalodon were sharks that lived 300,000 million years ago. There is debate as whether or not they were the relatives of the great white shark. But these big guys could get 60 feet in length! This tooth is 4 inches high so the shark was probably about 24 feet long! Yikes! The back of this tooth has more intact "enamel" than the front. #F6
4 in. tall x 3 1/2 in. at the widest point.
