Rose Quartz

Rose quartz is such a beautiful stone. It can be a pale pastel type of pink as well as bright pink mixed with white quartz. It is found in many areas of the world but Brazil, Madagascar and South Dakota are among the top areas where it can be found. Rose quartz grows in large massive stones and very small natural crystals. Clear quartz, amethyst and citrine are all in the quartz family and they grow into large crystals. But natural rose quartz crystals are not only rare, they are quite small. They are usually no larger than 1/4 inch tall. So all the large polished rose quartz "crystals" you see have actually been shaped and polished from large massive pieces of rose quartz. But this doesn't detract from their beauty or their wonderful metaphysical properties.

Rose quartz is a gently stone that works at the 4th, or heart, chakra. It is all about love: compassion, love and unconditional love for oneself and others. It helps us heal emotional wounds as well to be more heart based and less "head" based. We should all have to carry some rose quartz with us! There are many internal wisps and veils of white that compliment the soft pink color of this rose quartz. It has the look that Madagascar rose quartz is known for, almost like a pink girasol quartz. There are many light reflecting veils and some iron inclusions too. Lovely.  #RQ-13

Tall Madagascar Rose Quartz

This is a really beautiful rose quartz. It has a nice uniform pink color that is a bit translucent, which is what the Madagascar rose is known for. There are also just enough veils and wisps to make it interesting. Some of them almost look like clouds. This is a stunning stone with a very healing, very compassionate energy to it.  #RQ-15

Madagascar Rose Quartz

This stone has a lovely pink color with the slight translucency the Madagascar rose quartz is famous for. There are white veils and wisps inside the stone, adding to it's beauty. It has a loving, sweet energy to it. It would be a wonderful healing tool for someone healing from a broken heart. It does have a couple of small dings on one of the edges at the top which don't seem to effect the energy. The price has been discounted for this. A lovely stone.  #RQ-16

Large Brazilian Rose Quartz

 This is a nice, solid piece of rose quartz. It makes a statement wherever it is placed! It has a nice dark shade of pink with interesting lines of white quartz. There is also an area or two with some iron. There are natural fracture lines in this stone as you can see on the left side of the stone (the white is polishing compound that will be removed before the stone is shipped).
