Apophyllite, Stilbite, and Heulandite Specimens

Apophyllite, stilbite and heulandite are all part of the zeolite family. They grow in different forms, colors and sizes. And they love to grow together, giving the mineral collector a great gift of contrasting colors and textures to look at. They come from a variety of places but our specimens have all come from India.

Metaphysically speaking, green apophyllite has been used as a heart chakra stone, as has pink stilbite. They help one release the effect of the ego and come more form the heart instead of the head. It also has a fairy like quality and seems to energetically brighten the area where it is placed. They are a feel good stone. They are lovely to look at as well as great to work with in healing ventures.

Apophyllite & Stilbite

This is a lovely specimen of white, or clear apophyllite with pink stilbite. There are numerous perfect apophyllite crystals of various sizes growing alongside beautiful pink stilbite blades. They are on a druzy base. The picture doesn't do it justice. It is slightly concave too. So pretty. From India.   #apophyllite-1

Exquisite Stilbite & Apophyllite

This is such a stunning specimen. First of all, it's large, 11 inches long. It is covered in delicate white fine crystals that look like fresh snow. Nestled into the "snow" are numerous lovely pink stilbite blades. There is one thin exquisite green apophyllite crystal as well as a few small ones hiding here and there. The combination of the 3 different minerals all growing together is so pretty. It is in pristine condition. A great piece for the avid collector. From India. Fragile. #apophyllite-2

Apophyllite with Heulandite

This is a nice specimen piece. There are a couple of green apophyllite growing alongside a patch of white heulandite. It is on a chunk of basalt matrix stone that has blues and white through it. Comes attached to a plexiglas stand. From Lonavla, India #apophyllite-3

Stilbite Cluster

This is a sweet cluster of pinky-orange stilbites. There are a bunch of them. One of the main ones has the classic bowtie shape. The back is covered in tiny, slightly sharp, white crystals. There is no matrix rock on this piece. Lovely.  #stilbite-7

Stilbite

This is a cluster of stilbite from India. It is an off white color with a slight pinkish tinge. There are also areas that have a brown covering. The blades are thick from multiple layers.It's on a thick piece of matrix rock. Pretty.  #stilbite-1

Stilbite & Apophyllite

This is a great specimen that has numerous pink stilbite blades growing at the base of what looks like a stalactite growth that is covered with fine, thin crystals that look like fresh snow..
